Suggestions for where to stay in Oslo

The following suggestions have been made by previous participants on our courses:

It is a good idea to pick a hotel near the tram line that goes past the Veterinary School. Tram numbers 11, 17 and 18 from the centre of Oslo in the direction of Rikshospitalet (the National Hospital) pass the School. Do NOT take tram no. 12 or 19 to Majorstuen. The tramstop outside the Veterinary School is called Adamstuen.

Cochs Pensjonat in Parkveien 25 is about 7 minutes' walk from the tramstop in Pilestredet (where it meets Dalsbergstien).
Rica Holberg Hotel is just by the tramstop at Holbergsplass.
Thon Hotel Munch is also close to the tram to the Veterinary School.
The Hotel Savoy in Universitetsgaten 11 is near Tullinløkken tramstop.

All of these tramstops are within 10-15 minutes ride from the Veterinary School.
