The program is aimed at scientists, doctors and veterinarians, who plan, conduct and evaluate animal experiments and their facilities. The study course is conducted in English and is open to national and international applicants who wish to enhance their skills for a successful career in Laboratory Animal Science. Our master program for Laboratory Animal Science (MLAS) is a 2-year part-time program for veterinarians, physicians and scientist who have already at least 1-year experience in Laboratory Animal Science. During the first 3 semester, students will be given webinars outside official office hours and after the semester they must come to Aachen for the exams and the 10-day practical courses. The 4th semester is dedicated to the master thesis, which they can do at their institutes and/or beside their job. The course is FELASA accredited, and students will, in addition to their M.Sc. from the RWTH Aachen, a FELASA certificate as a Laboratory Animal Science specialist (incl. Function A, B and D and Modules 22- 25 & 51). |
