Presents characteristics which aid in identification of cells in the bone marrow and peripheral blood of rats, describes abnormal cells seen in experimental rat models evoked by prototype compounds or with a spontaneous disease, and provides information on the variability within normal appearance of rats for comparison with changes induced by experimental studies.
