ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Teaching Series: Cardiac Arrest and Code Team

This package is based on the latest American Heart Association ACLS Guidelines and includes two simulators, Cardiac Arrest and Code Team. The Cardiac Arrest ACLS computer simulator features 45 patients (30 adults and 15 PALS) which the user can choose among. The user has a highly trained team at his disposal, but they await orders. Whether the patient can be revived depends entirely on the user's efforts. The patient's history is presented, and the resusitation efforts begin. The user reads the live ECG, interpret the vital signs and lab data, and gives treatment orders. The orders can be given by clicking on common intervention buttons, or by typing them in plain English. This simulator provides drug information, an on-line text book and algorithm flowcharts for assistance if needed. The Code team simulator includes 3 modules: EKG Teaching; CardioQuiz; ACLS Protocols.
