Description: This continually expanding resource currently comprises 526 animal and human parasite images, representing originals. The collection is supplemental visual material to Biology 625 (Animal Parasitology) at the Department of Biology, Kansas State University. Images are listed under the following major headings: Monogenes; Digenes; Cestodes; Nematodes; Protozoa; Arthropoda; and Miscellaneous Taxa. Any images listing Dr. Upton as the contributor are free for educational and non-commercial use without permissions, provided that an appropriate acknowledgement is furnished citing Kansas State University. The images can be downloaded and used in classes and presentations anywhere. Many of the file sizes have been left large specifically for this purpose. Any images provided by other individuals are also free for use only if the user has obtained the appropriate permissions directly from the contributor. Please note that use of the images for marketing parasite treatments not endorsed by the FDA, AMA, or AVMA is not permissible.
