Boreal Digital Dissection: Earthworm, Building Site License

This teaching tool demonstrates proper dissection techniques on an earthworm and crayfish. The CD-ROM provides teachers and students with a complete virtual dissection lab. Each virtual dissection was performed by a dissection expert. A video/DVD style control panel allows students to view dissections step-by-step or in a film mode. A hint button helps guide students through the dissection. Video clips provide additional insight into specimen anatomy, behaviour, and movement. An interactive anatomy section allows students to highlight specific anatomical areas, and offers insight into specimen life cycle. Students are tested with 20 questions in the Quiz mode, and lets them check their scores for immediate feedback.
