This hands-on model allows students to view each of the 21 days of chick development. Realistic illustrations are shown inside the durable white plastic eggs for days 1 to 20. The final egg opens to reveal a plastic 3-D chicken. This set is suitable for teaching the chick life cycle and related vocabulary in life science lessons.
Suitable for Grades K and Higher. No incubator required. A multilingual activity guide includes definitions, chicken facts, and blackline master for labelling the parts of an egg. Eggs and plastic storage tray are labelled for self-checking and easy organisation. Each plastic egg measures 2.75 inches. The plastic tray measures 15 x 8.5 inches and the storage box measures 16 x 9 x3 inches. Please Note: The Set does not include a live chick.
