Cross sections of the transverse, descending, and sigmoid colon show the following common pathologies: ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis, bacterial infection, cancer, and polyps. Appendicitis, Crohn's disease, spastic colon (irritable bowel), adhesions, and diverticulosis are also depicted. The model can be detached from the base for hands-on examination. Includes a full-color, illustrated key card.
