This raised-relief plaque shows students structures of a crayfish, including a close-up section of the gills which are necessary for respiration. Also noticeable are the "teeth" in the stomach and the unique musculature of the tail. The lateral section shows all the major organs, while the inset details the method of respiration. Includes a Teacher Activity Binder with lesson plans, copymasters for student activities and overhead transparencies.
Comments & References: Measures 24 x 18 inches (approx. 61 x 46 cm). Made of high impact plastic reinforced with rigid foam. Suitable to use before dissection, to accompany a dissection, as a make up for a missed dissection, or as a practical after dissection.
