This model features a medial section of the anterior, as well as a cross-section, to illustrate all the important characteristics of an earthworm: the clitellum, complete segmentation, the anus, and all internal systems such as longitudinal muscles and the intestine. Includes a Teacher Activity Binder with lesson plans identifying 37 structures, copymasters for student activities and an overhead transparency.

Comments & References: Raised relief plaque. Measures 24 x 18 inches (approx. 61 x 46 cm). Made of high impact plastic reinforced with rigid foam. Suitable to use before dissection, to accompany a dissection, as a make up for a missed dissection, or as a practical after dissection. Please see Crayfish, Frog, Clam, Perch, Grasshopper and Fetal Pig for the other individual plaque models in this series.
