The major anatomical features of a foetal pig are depicted on this raised-relief plaque. The ventral view shows musculature, abdominal organs, and male reproductive structures. The dorsal view includes musculature, brain, nervous system and female reproductive organs. Between the two plaques, a diagram details the circulatory system (major blood vessels). Includes a Teacher Activity Binder with lesson plans identifying 83 parts, copymasters for student activities and an colour overhead transparency.
Comments & References: Raised relief plaque. Measures 24 x 18 inches (approx. 61 x 46 cm). Made of high impact plastic reinforced with rigid foam. Suitable to use before dissection, to accompany a dissection, as a make up for a missed dissection, or as a practical after dissection.
