Cross-sectional and dissectional views of the reproductive organs within the female pelvic region accurately show relative size and location. The ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and vagina demonstrate the origin of the ovum in the ovaries, and the process of fertilization and implantation in the uterus. An enlarged inset details the structure of a single ovum.
Model is approximately 1.5 times lifesize. 18 x 24 inches. The three-dimensional model is of lightweight, sturdy construction (high-impact plastic model reinforced with rigid foam).
