The Femoral Artery Trainer is a tabletop simulator for demonstrating and training femoral artery catheter insertion techniques. The trainer provides a durable rigid form of the pelvic region anatomy from umbilicus to thigh with replaceable skin section inserts that can be punctured at the femoral artery. When catheter is inserted through the skin, it feeds into the interior of the simulator and is retained there.
