This flexible horsefoot consists of the fetlock bone (Os compedale), the crown bone (Os coronale) and the coffin bone (Os ungulare). The coffin bone is usually enclosed by the hoof (not included in the model). Ligaments, tendons, articular cartilage and supporting tissue, or other components of the complex structure of a horse's foot are not shown in this model.
