This Interactive Case enables students to learn about how they can help a young calf having seizures. To determine the cause, the students “fly into” the brain of the calf to learn about osmosis and apply their learning to save the calf.
The Interactive CasesTM are available under brand name Cogent EducationTM that tackles challenging concepts in high school biology courses. It is designed by scientists and created by programmers, game designers and artists to provide students opportunities to act like real scientists. Includes a real time data system, Skills Assessment Based Learning Environment (SABLE), developed with teachers for teachers.
