This mannikin recreates the male dog's external and internal urogenital structure. It may be used to practise urinary catheterisation procedures. The procedures are: Inserting a urinary catheter; Collection of urine; Emptying the urinary bladder. Most dogs do not need sedation for these procedures. In some cases, sedation is required for the dog's comfort. Therefore, the mannikin includes an IV catheter simulator, so that the students can practise techniques like applying anaesthesia and taking blood samples. The simulator includes: Carrying Case; Lubricating Jelly (2); 35cc Syringe; 3cc Syringe; Red Rubber Catheter; Blood Filled Cephalic Veins (5). Available accessories: Bag of 6 Cephalic Veins; Bag of 12 Cephalic Veins.
