Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) is a model that demonstrates the problematic conditions associated with the joint capsule. Emphasis on the disc, surrounding bone inflammation, and also the effects on the teeth, (cracks, chips, cavities, and characteristics of bruxism). This is a demonstrative model and the mandible has a functional opening range of up to 1/2" only. It is not fully articulating. Exceeding this range may cause damage to the model. Includes education card that provides added information. Great for clinical display and consumer education.
