Human Anatomy and Physiology charts. This is an exciting series of 14 markable charts for all levels of health education. Each 38 x 50 inch chart consists of well-diagrammed, colourful material designed to explain the relationship between the structures and functions of the human body. The figures diagrammed are portrayed in life-like poses to relate each process with everyday activities. Focus of the main illustrations is directed towards beginning levels, while the detailed illustrations are for higher levels. Each chart is also coated so that they are markable with water-soluble inks. Being able to mark the charts allows flexibility and interaction by teachers and students, encouraging meaningful learning. This series is designed with educational/didactic colours as opposed to biological colours, creating a user-friendly approach to the study of the Human Body. Specially, this approach helps students locate and identify systems more easily, creating excitement and interest through graphics. A 96 page teacher’s guide is included with each set featuring black and white reproductions of charts, teaching suggestions, and background information. The reproductions have all the identifying names printed on the charts as well as additional names for more advanced study. Also includes 36-page teacher’s guide on drug education. Mountings for these charts include the tripod stand or the disc-base stand. The tripod stand includes the steel charthead with bolted charts which fit on a tripod that extends 7 feet high. With a disc-base stand, 5 inch casters are included for convenient mobility.
