Microslide set. This set consists of the following Microslides: Cork, unstained (300X); Onion Skin, w.m., stained (200X); Green Leaf, c.s., stained (300X); Cheek Cells, w.m., stained (900X); Blood Cells, smear, stained (900X); Nerve Cells, c.s., stained (300X); Bacteria, smear, stained (1500X); Virus,w.m. (50,000X).  Microslides are photomicrographs prepared from carefully selected specimens. Each Microslide contains eight related 35mm images as photographed through a microscope. Arrows and callouts help the student locate important features. The film is mounted in a clear acetate holder. Microslides are available as Microslide Lessons. Each Lesson consists of a Microslide and a text folder of factual information.The text folder, printed on heavy tag stock for durability, has a handy pocket for storing the Microslide. Microslide Lessons are conveniently packaged in sets of 15 of one kind. Each set comes in a sturdy, labelled box ready for shelf or desk storage. Microslides are viewed through a special Micro-Slide-Viewer. The Viewer is not a microscope.   It is a unique teaching tool designed for viewing Microslides without electricity or special lighting. The white reflector provides sufficient light for a bright image in the normal light of a classroom. The Viewer is simple to operate, unbreakable, and completely washable. Unconditionally guaranteed against breakage.
