Description: | The EU Directive on animal welfare (2010/63/EU) requires that people who work with laboratory animals must be sufficiently trained and qualified and must undergo continuing professional development (CPD). For this, las campus offers high-quality online training that is always up to date. Our online courses can be used, for example, to acquire the skills and knowledge defined in Annex 1 Section 3 TierSchVersV (DE: Persons who conduct or plan and design animal experiments). Further training modules encapsulate key points and are recognized for further training by Switzerland’s Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO). We also create modules on contract and compile modules for you for specific teaching and training purposes. At las campus, you can pursue online courses and modules to acquire or brush up theoretical qualifications for working with laboratory animals. Our courses are designed for teaching/acquiring the knowledge required for animal experiment work according to EU recommendations and, in Germany, according to the ordinance on protection of laboratory animals (TierSchVersV). A course thus consists of several parts: a general part (e.g. Course 01 TierSchVersV) and relevant species-specific content (Courses 01.1 and following courses). The composition of the course may be adapted to country-specific requirements. The main focus at present is on the training required in Germany for people who conduct or plan and design animal experiments (TierSchVersV Annex 1 Section 3). |
