The Risk Group Database is a searchable database of information on agents which may infect humans or animals.
Records contain links to Pathogen Safety Datasheets and Risk Assessment from the Public Health Agency of Canada. These contain information on the characteristics of the agent, hazard identification, dissemination, stability and viability, first aid and medical care, laboratory hazards, exposure control and personal protection, handling, storage, regulations and literature references.
Produced by the American Biological Safety Association (ABSA).
The database is also available as an app for iOS and Android devices, and will work offline.
