This course is organized for persons who completed the basic education in laboratory animal science and aimed at scientists involved in surgery in their animal experimentation.

During this two day course, beginners with no or little previous knowledge will get instructed first in basic surgical skills (eg. knots and sutures). On the second day, participants will already be taught basic procedures and will be able to perform a soft tissue surgery on real tissue by themselves.
This course is organised to improve the skills of scientists in this domain. Beginners with previous knowledge can complete this course under supervision of our team and external specialists.
