Anatomy & Physiology Revealed: Cat Version

Anatomy & Physiology Revealed (APR) Cat is an online interactive cat dissection experience. This state-of-the-art program uses cat photos combined with a layering technique that allows the student to peel away layers of the cat to reveal structures beneath the surface. Anatomy & Physiology Revealed Cat also provides animations, histologic and radiologic imaging, audio pronunciations, and comprehensiv quizzing. APR Cat features quality animations to explain key physiological processes, demonstrate muscle actions and joint movements, or clarify anatomical relationships. After viewing an anatomical structure on a cat, the student can immediately view a related animation. Histology, X-ray, MRI, and CT images are also included to help students learn tissues and visualise internal structures using imaging techniques. APR provides students with instant access to a quiz covering the system they are studying by simple clicking on the quiz button and selecting the type of quiz (e.g. multiple choice) they wish to take. Quizzes are timed to simulate a practical exam. The results page provides students with a list of incorrectly identified content along with links back to those areas for further study.
