Extended ACF (Ante Cubital Fossa) Pad - Venepuncture

The Extended ACF Pad - Venepuncture simulator is a soft tissue pad which represents the Ante Cubital Fossa of the right arm, for use in venepuncture and the introduction of cannulae. Training skills: Recognition of the vein pattern through palpation; Insertion of a needle; Introduction of a cannula and use of micropore; Management of blood flow; When connected to a blood reservoir: withdrawal of blood and use of a Vacutainer or similar product.

Features of this product: The pad is designed for the introduction of cannulae up to 15 cm distally and proximally; Veins are: Self sealing for repeated use, Rechargable through the cannula, Supplied with mock blood at "flash back" pressure; The pad can be connected to the Mock Blood Giving Set to simulate blood flow; Supplied on a non-slip back plate; Epidermis is washable using soap and water.
