The Eye Dissection (3-D Paper Dissection Model) is a humane alternative to traditional animal dissections, focusing on anatomy and physiology without the "smell, stress, or cleanup." Formerly a longtime favorite of the Getting Nerdy collection and now part of the Inside Out Science lineup, it serves as a pre-lab activity, a standalone dissection-free lesson, or a comparative anatomy assessment. The model uses consistent organ color schemes to help students build connections across different biological systems. It includes student reading materials, color/black-line templates, and a step-by-step PowerPoint guide. A vinyl version is also available.
