This model of a horse (mare) can be divided into two parts in the sagittal plane. One side shows the external anatomy while the other side shows the musculature. The left inside shows the thorax and the abdominal cavity with removable organs. The right inner side shows the main blood vessels. One half of the head can be separated from the muscle half. Mounted on a base with wheels. 1/3 life size.
The model can be disassembled into 16 parts:
- Right side of the head (external)
- Left side of the head (musculature)
- Right side of the torso (external)
- Left side of the torso (musculature)
- Left front leg
- Right buttock muscle
- Heart ( 2 parts)
- Left lung
- Stomach (2 parts)
- Small intestine
- Large intestine
- Liver
- Left kidney
- Spleen
