Life Cycle of a Sea Lamprey

Each of the four marine animals (Marine Invertebrates, Sea Lamprey, Shark and Fish) in the Marine Life Series, enables students to compare and contrast anatomical structures and biological functions. Detailed diagrams are used to illustrate biological processes. Students learn in detail how these animals survive, and learn the names of structures as well as the related life-supporting functions of these structures. Each lesson ends with a comprehension check, which is designed to measure the student's understanding of the key concepts presented in the lesson. A percentage score is reported for this component of the program. A simple menu system provides direct access to topics. Students can easily continue their lesson from their previous point in the sequence by selecting an item from the menu.
