Model Respiratory System

This raised relief model demonstrates the entire breathing process. The cut-away view clarifies the relationship between the respiratory system and the adjacent structures. One lung is exposed to show complete cross-section. The other lung gives students detailed view of lung structure. Models of an enlarged "bronchial tree" and alveoli reveal pulmonary details. This is a 3-dimensional model for studies of body structure and function. The model is in full colour, with features numbered and identified in the accompanying Lesson plan. Constructed of high impact plastic reinforced with rigid foam. The model may be marked with washable markers and then wiped clean. Measures 61 x 46 x 8 cm (height x width x depth).
