Osteoarthritis (OA) Hand is a life-size model of a right hand with cutaway views to reveal effects of osteoarthritis. It includes osteophytes (bone spurs), Heberden’s and Bouchard’s nodes, and swan neck deformity of the thumb. Shows other anatomy affected by osteoarthritis: ligaments, tendons, muscle, and cartilage. For comparison, normal anatomy is also shown. Made of a durable, plastic material. Great for clinical display and consumer education. Includes education card that provides added information.
