This three-layer suture pad provides the opportunity to practice surgical closure of the pig's outer skin. Its thick and durable epidermis enables the vivid application of incisions, sutures and surgical knotting techniques. The visual and textural demarcation between skin and subcutaneous tissue also allows for intracutaneous suture practice.
The pads are reusable, tear-resistant and retain their shape and texture even after repeated use. The practical pad holder (S) can be used to mount suture pads in a vertical or a horizontal position, as required.
Pad holder and Instruments are not included but may be ordered separately.
