This document was prepared for DGXI of the European Commission to be used with Directive 86/609/EEC. It is published in two parts: Part 1 comprises sections 1 & 2 with a reading list. Part 2 covers section 3, reference lists and details of training materials.
Contents: methods of euthanasia for fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, rodents, rabbits, carnivores (dogs, cats, ferrets), large mammals (pigs, sheep, goats, cattle, horses), non-human primates and other animals not commonly used for experiments, references, euthanasia training materials.
