This Model Set includes individual magnetic models representing 9 stages of animal cell mitosis. The following phases of mitosis are depicted: interphase; prophase; early prometaphase; late prometaphase; metaphase; early anaphase; late anaphase; telophase; and cytokinesis. The 9 stages are depicted on individual removable models that are approximately 10.000 times larger than an actual animal cell. Each stage is painted using the colours of common microscopy stains, allowing students to easily relate the models to examples seen under a microscope. The individual models are magnetic and can be arranged on a whiteboard.
Comes in a durable plastic storage base that can be placed on a tabletop or hung on a wall. Base size: 40 x 60 cm.
