Description: Basic Eye Tutor 1.0.3 is an independent study courseware that presents basic science information about the eye and visual system through text and graphics, including some animations. Features: This program presents fundamental information (core material) through a sequential series of screens. Related ancillary information, including additional details and clinical considerations, is optionally accessible by clicking labelled buttons. The Tutor has five sections, and each section is followed by a multiple-choice quiz. The sections are: 1 Embryology of the Eye; 2 Anatomy of the Eyeball; 3 Anatomy of Eye Adnexa; 4 Biochemistry of Photoreception; and 5 Neurobiology of Vision.
