The report covers principles of breeding and supply, selection of breeding stock, husbandry and care of breeding animals, peri-parturient and post-natal care, weaning and segregation, staff, socialisation, handling and training, re-use and retirement.
This document has been replaced by the 2017 update of the guidelines entitled Non-human primate accommodation, care and use issued by the NC3Rs.
