Report of the ACLAM task force on rodent euthanasia

AAALAC International cites these guidelines as one of its reference resources.

This is a report from a task force appointed by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM). The guidelines were prepared to expand upon the information contained in the report of the AVMA panel on euthanasia.

Peer-reviewed publications from 1912-2005 were evaluated for inclusion as references. Covers the euthanasia of feral and neonatal rodents, the use of CO₂ for euthanasia, the influence of euthanasia method on frequently measured scientific parameters, and literature references.
