ShARM (Shared Ageing Research Models) was a not for profit organisation, open to all scientific investigators in the UK and overseas, aiming to accelerate research into ageing by facilitating the sharing of resources.

ShARM provided immediate and cost effective access to aged murine models and their tissue through a biorepository and database of live ageing colonies. ShARM also promoted the networking of researchers and dissemination of knowledge through its online collaborative environment, MICEspace.
ShARM also provided a variety of resources related to ageing research, including a newsletter, a list of relevant publications and a list of upcoming meetings.
ShARM was funded by Wellcome Trust and worked in partnership with MRC Harwell and the Centre for Integrated Research into Musculoskeletal Ageing (CIMA).
The project has now been terminated. There is some information about the project on this archived webpage from the MRC website.
