NORINA contains information on audiovisual materials and other items that may replace or supplement the use of animals in teaching and training.

The database is available free of charge online as part of the Norecopa website. NORINA covers all use of animals in teaching from junior school to university, including alternatives to dissection classes. The database is compiled by Karina Smith at Norecopa. Norecopa does not hold the products listed in the database, but each record contains details of the supplier. NORINA is complemented by TextBase, also produced by Norecopa, which contains information on textbooks and other literature within laboratory animal science.
