The RepRefRed Society ("Gesellschaft zur Förderung von alternativen Biomodellen") was founded in Austria in January 2016. The purpose of the Society is to facilitate alternative means to animal experiments, critically analyse them and be a platform for diploma and PhD students to offer them prospects to learn different techniques. Also, the Society aims to be a platform for knowledge transfer between scientists, enhancing animal experiment protocols and stimulating the reduction and refinement of these experiments.
