Transgenic-list (tg-l) is now run by the International Society for Transgenic Technologies (ISTT).
Transgenic-list (tg-l) was created by in 1996 to serve the global research community specializing in genetic modifications of experimental laboratory animals. The list provides advice in the field of animal transgenesis and facilitates the exchange of protocols. Major keywords cover a wide spectrum of subject areas: homologous recombination, targeted mutagenesis, inducible expression, ES cells, microinjection, mouse genetics, and animal husbandry The tg-l is public (anyone may subscribe, including ISTT members and non-members alike), unmoderated and closed. The tg-l currently has about 1800 subscribers from all over the world.
There is a fully searchable archive of the "transgenic-list" available to ISTT members. Details of how to become a member of the ISTT are available on the ISTT web site.
