Anton Krag has a degree in Zoology (cand. scient.) with a major subject within behavioural ecology. He is the CEO of the Norwegian Animal Protection Alliance (Dyrevernalliansen).

Anton has worked with animal protection and animal rights for over 25 years. He was the animal protection organisations' representative for 8 years in the Norwegian Animal Research Authority (Forsøksdyrutvalget) from 2001 to 2009.

He was also a national expert on alternatives to animal experiments, appointed by Norway's Food Safety Authority (Mattilsynet), from 2016 until 2021.
