Linda Andersen is the Head of Research & Development at the ILAB Foundation in Bergen.

She graduated as a fish health biologist and has a PhD in fish health from the University of Bergen.

Linda has 20 years' experience with fish research. Her speciality is gill health and amoebic gill disease. Linda is concerned with fish welfare and she wishes to improve their lives as research animals.

Linda works to provide alternatives to animal experiments, and also to ensure that research animals are not used in studies any longer than is necessary (humane endpoints).
