Abdominal wall – cow

This multilayer suture pad provides the opportunity to train incisions and surgical closure of the bovine wall, as performed during caesarean sections on ruminants. It consists of the skin and the various muscle layers (M. obliquus ext., M. obliquus int. and M. transversus). Therefore, it is suitable for practising the gradual section of the abdominal wall, as well as the closure of each layer by means of surgical sutures or skin clips.

Layers from outside to inside:
- Cutis
- Subcutis
- M. obliquus externus abdominis
- M. obliquus internus abdominis
- M. transversus
- Peritoneum

The Vetiqo pads are reusable, tear-resistant and retain their shape and texture after repeated use. The practical pad holder (L) can be used to mount suture pads in a vertical or a horizontal position, as required. (The large pad holder is only suitable for the Abdominal wall - cow).

Pad holder and Instruments are not included but may be ordered separately.
