About Murray the Bacterium 4358

Description: Budding microbiologists can now follow the adventures of Murray Bacterium, the bacterium and actor on these Web pages. By following the story of Murray's identity crisis and how he came to terms with who he really is, students receive a very gentle introduction to bacterial cell structure. The story includes links to glossary information on bacterial cell structure (need JavaScript to run them). Murray feels that it is time for humans to learn a bit about bacteria and the good things they do as well as bad things. Click on the green navigation buttons next to Murray at the top right of the screen to browse through his story.
