Three separate plaque-mounted models demonstrate the basic structure of the kidney. The first model is a 2.5 times life size dissection of a kidney and adrenal gland. The second model is a schematic enlargement that shows anatomical details of an individual nephron. The third model shows a renal corpuscle with Bowman's capsule, glomerulus, and juxtaglomerular apparatus.
