Description: This six-part series provides an introduction to basic anatomy, particularly for courses where students of anatomy may not have the opportunity to dissect a cadaver. The first program uses an embalmed specimen to show the musculoskeletal anatomy of the abdomen and pelvis, and an unembalmed specimen to show the abdominal contents. A live model demonstrates the corresponding functional surface anatomy.
