This DVD demonstrates dissection techniques and explains the anatomy of the eye. Students are given a close-up view of the special dissection procedure used for this organ. The anatomical structures included on this DVD, are sclera, optic nerve, retina, tapetum, ciliary body and major muscles. The DVD begins with a detailed observation of the external anatomy of a cow/beef eye. It then shows proper incision techniques followed by a review of the internal anatomy. May be used prior to dissection to introduce concepts, procedures, methods.
