Model Clam Activity Set

This raised relief plaque shows students virtually all aspects of the clam's structure both three-dimensionally and with inset diagrams. The model features half of the shell, the mantle, and a portion of the foot cut away to detail the internal organs. The gill structure is illustrated by the inset diagrams (enlarged). An additional diagram illustrates the nervous and circulatory systems. Includes a Teacher Activity Binder with lesson plans (explaining 41 identified structures), copymasters for the student activities and an overhead transparency. Measures 24 x 18 inches (61 x 46 cm). Constructed of high impact plastic reinforced with rigid foam.
