Description: Fractures in the limbs of horses are well known and the prognosis may be good if the fracture can be effectively immobilised. The video film shows some methods of immobilisation in horses. The principle of simple osteosynthesis using screws or plates is demonstrated on bone tissue and then the surgery is shown in real life.
