Rufus is a full size K-9 mannikin suitable for practical lab skills and for practising advanced bandaging and first aid procedures. Students can practise Mouth-to-Snout resuscitation on this mannikin. The left knee, elbow, carpal and hock joints have 90° range of motion. Shoulder and hip joints also have the flexibility of 90° rotation. Bandaging techniques that can be performed on Rufus: 90-90-flexion sling; Carpal sling; Robert Jones bandage; Velpeau sling (on the right forelimb); Ehmer sling (on the right hind leg); Limb bandage using stirrups; Trunk bandage; Padded hip bandage; Head and Ear bandage; Casts. Accessories included: 5 disposable lungs, a brush, carrying case with kneeling pad.
