Surgical Training Kit

This simulator helps students learn basic surgical techniques. The simulator includes scissors, needle holders, toothed forceps, no. 11 surgical blade and handles, extra skin pads, 2 bowels (25mm in diameter and 150mm long). Skills that can be learned include: Various superficial and deep knot-tying techniques performed manually or with instruments; Primary and secondary knot retention and security evaluation; Incisions and skin suturing; Skin stapling and extraction of stapler pins; Bowel anastomosis; Vessel anastomosis; Vessel and duct ligation.
